Property Assessment Appeal Process
Property Assessment Appeal Process
If you have received a property assessment that you would like to challenge, you should first contact your local BC Assessment office and discuss your concerns or questions with an appraiser.
If your concerns are not satisfied, you may file a Notice of Complaint for a formal hearing with an independent Property Assessment Review Panel. The deadline for filing a Notice of Complaint is January 31, 2019.
If you contest the Panel’s decision, you can file an appeal with the Property Assessment Appeal Board by April 30, 2019.
